A reproduction fist-load weapon crafted from an elongated ring of polished koa, with an array of shark's teeth lashed to the leading edge. The implement was used by Polynesians, particularly Hawaiian Islanders, in battle. Tiger shark teeth were highly prized for this purpose, and in ancient times, only ali'i (chiefs) were allowed to possess them.
